ENTER TO HORA - Or band plays Mazaltov ve Simantov as bride / groom and retinue proceed to main table

SERVE DRINKS TO MAIN TABLE - the band plays one or two quiet songs.

WELCOME SPEECH

MC welcomes guests and toasts South Africa and Israel.

Band plays all the anthems (condensed to approx 1½ min).(Optional)

MC announces person to make hamotzi on the bread

STARTERS - Band plays background music

SPEECHES - Followed by first dance and a 30 minute dance set

MAIN COURSE - Band plays background music. Announce cutting of cake.

BENCHING - Do benching asap after dinner.

DANCING - Allow for a decent second set of dancing before the garter and bouquet.

Sometimes there is a second set of horas which is normally placed either after the first dance, or after the benching.
